Bansko lifts, Drags and Ski runs
Bansko has ski runs for beginners and proficient skiers- 11 ski runs and 4 ski paths. The excellent skiing runs total 60 km. in length and the superb transportation is organized utilizing a Doppelmayer gondola for 8 people, five 4- seat lifts, one 3- seat lift, six ski drags and ten ski drags for children.
LIFTS
The cabin lift is 6.2 km. long and its lower station is in the city of Bansko, reaching "Banderishka Polyana" at 1590 m. The Banderitsa lift provides four seats and its lower station is in the "Banderishka Polyana" and reaches right underneath the Todorka peak, above the upper station of the Platoto 2 drag. The Todorka lift is a three seat lift with the lower station being "Shiligarnika Plaza" and the upper station underneath the Todorka peak. The "Cerna Mogila" lift is for two people with the lower station at "Banderishka Polyana" and the upper below Cerna Mogila peak.
DRAGS
The Bansko drag is an anchor type and runs along the Bansko ski run. The Starata Pista- Kotvata (trans. The Old Run- the Anchor) is an anchor type and runs along the Starata Pista run. The Platoto drag and Platoto 2 run along each other.
SKI RUNS
The lowest point of the runs begins at the Bansko Gondola station and the highest peak is at Todorka. The ski runs are for professional skiers and beginners and children as well: Tomba (professional), Plato South (beginner), Plato North (beginner), Banderitsa (advanced), Shiligarnik (beginners), Todorka (beginners), Old Run (beginners), Children’s Run, (beginners), Tomba 2 (professional), Shiligarnik 2 (beginners), Chalin Valog West (advanced), Chalin Valog East (advanced), Cerna Mogila (advanced).
Banderitsa- Alberto Tomba- is at the upper station of the Banderitsa lift, beneath the Todorka peak until its lower station at Banderishka Polyana.
Todorka and Balkaniad- begin as one large run from the Todorka lift station and split, then reunite again, reaching Shligarnika Plaza.
Bansko (Children’s Run)- begins at the upper end of the "Old Run- Kotvata" until Shiligarnika Plaza.
Old Run- It begins from the peak of the hill, located south of Shiligarnika and drops to the second parking, on the road to Banderitsa hill.
Plato South- begins underneath Todorka peak and runs east until Platoto local. It is located south of the Plato drag and Plato 2 drag.
Platoto Sever- begins beneath Todorka peak and runs to the east of the Platoto lacal. It is situated south of the Platoto drag and Platoto 2 drag.
Shiligarnika- begins at the end of the Plato run and Plato 2 run and reaches Todorka run.
