Location: During the winter months, the prestigious, four- star Orphey Hotel is the picture perfect getaway for a ski holiday- snuggled in the city park and surrounded by trees and greenery. The luxury apartment even has a fireplace in the living room and a Jacuzzi and shower cabin in the bathroom.

Food and Drink Facilities: Open from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, the main restaurant presents a quiet atmosphere, an elegant setting and great food. The Orphey hotel's restaurant offers 120 places and a summer garden with 50 outdoor seats.  The ethno tavern has a unique character representing traditional Bulgarian interior design and at the same time combines authentic recipes with modern European specialties. The winery is also a pleasure with the wide selection of exquisite wines. There are organized folklore performances and singing groups which entertain guests in true Bulgarian spirit. Open 24- hours a day, the plush, leather couches in the lobby bar are a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a cocktail. The sophisticated mezzanine bar offers a more refined setting, appropriate for business meetings and negotiations.

Getting there: Arriving by plane, the nearest airport is the Sofia international Airport, which is some 150 km. north of Bansko. For those who’ve arrived in Greece, the Airport in Solon is only some 250 km. away.
